San
Antonio Zoo
With over 3,500 animals representing 750 species, The San Antonio
Zoo maintains one of the largest animal collections in the United
States. Located in Brackenridge Park, the Zoo is situated at the headwaters
of the San Antonio River, and is surrounded by scenic limestone cliffs.
The San Antonio Zoo's captive breeding success is recognized throughout
the zoo community. The Zoo was the first to hatch and rear Caribbean
flamingos, produce the first white rhinoceros born in North America,
and is internationally acclaimed for its breeding success of the rare
snow leopard. The San Antonio Zoo is also the only facility to exhibit
the endangered whooping crane. |

World
The world's largest marine life adventure park featuring more than
25 spectacular shows, animal habitats, rides and family attractions
such as Lost Lagoon, a water park within the park. Call for hours

Buckhorn
Museum
Visit the Buckhorn Saloon & Museum where you may belly up to our 118
year old bar. Sip spirits, beer or soda while you enjoy live entertainment
with a Texas twist. Entertainment includes trick roping, an old west
card act, cowboy poet and gunfighters. Then head on over to the Buckhorn
Arcade for fun and games or visit the many exhibit halls where you'll
find one of the most amazing collections you've ever seen, including
"Old Tex" a longhorn with an 8' 9" horn span. Next take a walk through
the Hall of Texas History Wax Museum or visit the Curio Store for
those one-of-a-kind souvenirs. All the excitement is sure to work
up your appetite, so head for the saloon and try something wild like
grilled whitewings or just traditional Texas fare. We know you're
